Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing visual concepts based on the provided brand strategy, brief and insights
  • Adapt and roll out approved concepts for various digital and traditional media formats
  • Collaborating effectively with the marketing and sales teams as well as external suppliers to deliver content and marketing collateral to meet the needs of the business
  • Ensure artwork is correct and supplied in the right formats and sizes before going live 
  • Delivering work on time and in line with the brand identity guidelines
  • Adhere to team processes and quality standards

Attributes required:

  • Excellent self-management and time management
  • Keen eye for aesthetics and detail
  • Good communication skills to accurately convey your concepts to prospective clients, partners and team members
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, not limited to but including layout, colour, contrast, typography, scale, and composition
  • Excellent understanding of digital design best practices 
  • Understanding of print best practices
  • Have a strong, well-rounded portfolio that showcases your individual design aesthetic

Qualifications and experience:

  • AAA, Vega or similar Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design
  • 1-3 years’ work experience (must have proven digital design experience at an advertising or design agency)
  • Key software capabilities include Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign etc), Figma or similar
It will be useful to have although not absolutely required:
  • Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro (or any other video editing suite), illustration and/or photography skills
  • UI/UX design experience
  • Experience working in a tech startup
